Tree Fort Financial uses a proprietary investment method and measures our results against a benchmark, so our clients know how much value we provide.

Tree Fort Financial measures our results against a benchmark, such as the Dow Jones US Total Market ETF (symbol IYY) adjusted for risk tolerance. Returns over benchmark are excess returns. Excess returns measure advisor performance. Tree Fort Financial compares our excess returns to our advisor fees, creating a ratio of excess returns to advisor fees as a measure of whether our fees are paying for themselves in excess returns. Since inception 2003 through the end of last year, Tree Fort Financial has delivered cumulative excess returns for the hypothetical average client. That means that the hypothetical average client earned more in excess return over the benchmark, than she paid in fees. See the Tree Fort Financial Hypothetical Compounded Annual Return for more information. Past performance may not be indicative of future results.
